You can even see the holes in side of the woman's head in the last picture.

The text under the picture seems to say she was shot, along with her husband (married for just 14 days), the day before the liberation of Deventer (in the Netherlands)

I guess they were just shit out of luck.

I close my eyes for the briefest of moments knowing that these people were happy and living normal lives, as most of us are. In an instant normal became unthinkable. I Shudder at the thought of my family being torn away from normal to hell.
