I had a Japanese girlfriend and my landlord said he hated Japanese people, I asked why and he said his Dad was a POW in WWII and they did really awful things to him. The hurt lives on but Japanese people are rarely taught much about it, in fact they still mourn their "war heroes" I do like Asian girls though xxx

When I was in China on a tour, our tour guide said she turned down all tours with Japanese on them. She mostly did Americans and Brits.
There is still deep anti-Japanese sentiment in China.

People forget, or never even knew, there was a long and bloody invasion/war/colonisation of China long before WW2 even kicked off.
