This was the first gore picture I remember seeing.

If I remember correctly, he bludgeoned her to death and then cut her up with the intention of grinding her up in the garbage disposal. All the missing parts you see were in the disposal, but when her leg bones jammed it up he panicked and ran. Happened sometime in the 1940's... like 1947 or something like that.
