Cool, I think I seen this before. IT looks similar to a cat they found in someones house on that show Hoarders. The cat was buried under a pile of junk and was mummified just like that when they found it.

what makes you think that it's mummification was intended?
I don't know, I read mummified and automatically though of Egyptian mummifying, since they mummified cats.
Forgot that things can end up mummified unintentionally, too.

Reminds me of a cat my brother found under a neighbours shed. They were playing with a ball and it somehow landed under a neighbours shed and brother went to dig it out. He came out with this mummified cat, holding it by the tail. It looked just like this one, except for the mouth, which wasn't snarling. It looked like asbestos. He chased us down the road with it. The bastard.
