Re: May We Never Forget Hiroshima (B&W)
I typically won't bother reading through 12 pages of messages but the historical misinformation and ignorant propaganda really irked me to no end. If I were British I'd be embarrassed that the educators of my children have such a poor grasp of British history and even less of world history. That "flower" guy must teach calisthenics. Funny, I always thought of Great Britain as our friends and allies. What's with all the finger pointing? Who wrote the book on sticking their noses where they weren't wanted? Colonialism anyone? Do you guys still control any colonies other that the Faulklands and Virgin Islands? Which one of you guys said that GB kicked ass in WW2? What about Dunkirk? What about the 130,000 that surrendered to the Japanese in Malaysia? The surrendering Brits were dug in and outnumbered the attacking Japanese 3 to 1. 130,000? You could have at least fired a couple of shots at the Japs you fucking poofs. Sure, I'll concede that the battle of Britain was a stalemate, only because that nutjob Hitler wanted the wealth and resources of Russia more and diverted the luftwaffe to the eastern front instead of continuing the daily UK bombings. Besides, the UK doesn't have much for resources and the food really sucks. Would the British have been speaking German had it not been for US intervention? Maybe not (but the French and the majority of other countries in Europe better shut the fuck up because they most certainly would be). Had it not been for Hitler going after Russia and the US joining the European theater things would be very different over there. Maybe we should have minded our own business and just concentrated on the Japanese. Right? As for what happened to the Japanese I say piss on them. The Japanese people during that time were human garbage that believed that they were superior to all other humans by divine rite. The atrocities committed by those animals would have justified the total nuclear annihilation of the entire Japanese islands. Look up the "rape of Nanking". Remember those 130,000 that surrendered in Malaysia? The vast majority were beaten, murdered or starved to death. Geneva convention? The Japanese believed it didn't apply to them. They were "above" human decency. Now I have nothing against modern Japanese but I have no remorse whatsoever for "fat man" and "little boy". I wouldn't have felt any guilt if they had dropped 20 atomic bombs on those bastards. They deserved every bit of it. Having said that, we did them a big favor. After we kicked the Japanese ass all the way back to their home islands the only other option would have been a full scale invasion of Japan. Sure, many allied soldiers would have died but perhaps millions of Japanese would have died in their fanatical fighting to the last man. Truman warned them about the "rain of ruin from the sky". Did they listen? No? Fuck them. There were 3 days between the two bomb drops. They had plenty of time to decide whether they enjoyed that shit or not. All this information is in the history books. I'm sick of these pricks that bad-mouth America as a whole because they may not agree with some US foreign policy decisions. They seem to me to be the same sort of ignorant, uneducated goat-fuckers that would believe all that "72 virgins" bullshit. I can't get over the bullshit propaganda that these uneducated Europeans spout off that couldn't be further from the truth. You want to know the real America? Come see for yourself. Americans are the most easy-going, kindest people on earth (after the Hindus ;). Like someone else mentioned the world quickly forgets the compassion of the American people when tragedy occurs anywhere in the world. A People that donate millions upon millions of dollars out of their own pockets to help people we don't even fucking know. Thousands of volunteers that give up their incomes and leave their families to work for nothing overseas during such times just to help others. I've said enough. God bless America! The rest of you naysayers can go suck a dick. |

Re: May We Never Forget Hiroshima (B&W)
Shootist I normally try to stay out of stuff like what this thread has turned into . I take the comments of people like the person who posted these images in stride and concider the source . Over the last few months here on DR I have made friends with people from all over the world U.K. included. I would never dream of ever saying anything to offend folks like Kelly or sadakohere who live in the U.K. . like I said all in all I concider the source and in this case I think as our U.K. friends would say the guy who posted this and his comments is what they would call a "nutter". Now having said that I hope I can say the following with out offending my friends in the U.K. SHOOTIST MY FRIEND GOD BLESS YOU , YOU ARE 110% CORRECT. We may not be perfect here God knows our elected officals can be down right stupid at times but you are right the average person on the street would and has helped out in times of need . That is one of the things that make a people great and I hope it never changes here. Thats not to say other countries are not capable of compassion . I have traveled the world and have met wonderful people in other countries as well. But when it comes to history and getting the job done I think all in all we have done alright as a people and can be proud . |

Re: May We Never Forget Hiroshima (B&W)
You surely know we pushed Japan back and had there country basically surrounded with invasion plans already In the works. It was decided when these bombs were ready it would mean the war could be won with very few causalities. Which is how wars were fought. If they figured it out first we may have lost. And the bombs are nuclear not chemical. Do you even listen to yourself? Pretty sure any country in the world would do all not to be defeated except France. But we were not about to be defeated, we were attacked and were not going to put thousands, of our men in boxes for anyone in that situation. But in Europe we refrained, see how that works. Attack us and we are ready to defend at your countries peril. That's what all nuclear countries |

Re: May We Never Forget Hiroshima (B&W)
Why are people making the USA seem like it's the best place to live on Earth? Sure, it has "opportunities" and we have "rights", but that's all a smokescreen. I'm not bad-mouthing America, 'cause every country has it's ups and downs, I just think people should just not make America to be the most superior country there is. People say that the average American is "the most easy-going, kindest people on earth"? My ass. This country is not run on kindness and easy-going. From what I've experienced, most Americans are judgemental and put fake faces on, but I'm glad for the friends I've made here that are not like that. Anyways, people say we have one of the greatest governments there can be? Are you people blind? Sure, the idea is very convinient, but you guys have to look up on the shady stuff this government has done, so y'all can stop with the bad-mouthing of others. (9/11 = False Flag, MK-Ultra = Can't purely trust the government anymore) |
