One of the two died: don't know which one of the two, and anyway now it's too late to save the other one

Women Jumping Off Burning Building

Original caption:Death Leap. Pusan, South Korea: In a desperate bid to escape from their burning office building at the telephone-telegraph office in the southern port city of Pusan, South Korea, two office girls leap from the building fifth floor. One of the girls seen in the graphic picture was killed and the other seriously injured. Five switchboard operators died in the blaze and 40 people were injured when the fire swept the 4th and 5th floors, of the modern office block.
