Definitely a lucky ass, the driver was Hans Hermann, (the photo was taken by J. Weitmann) during the 1959 German Grand Prix due to brakes failure. This one was also taken by the same photographer, one year after, same track  it's Van Falkenberg caught while "exiting his car". Here's the vid of the accident in the first pic |
