They (older women) were talking about abortion (and birth control)in a feminism documentary I watched last night. The fear of pregnancy kept them virgins, as one woman put it. Another said, "if men could become pregnant, abortion would be an option", she's right. Might not all men would agree on it, as they don't anyway but it would be there, on the table.
I don't like the thought of abortion at all but a woman should have the right to have options. I think most pro choicers don't think abortion is a good thing. They just want the right to chose should they ever need it for whatever reason.
I know women who've had many abortions without a thought, their choice. I've also had a friend who's parents forced her to have one. She was 12, and that's bad. But I think her parents choosing that route for her was the root of her issues. Killing that baby.
One way or the other, who's to choose what's best for another? If my friend (even at 12) had the option to choose, she would have birthed a live child. But someone else made the decision(HUGE DEAL) for her.
On the other hand, we can force another to keep the baby. It can live neglected until it dies and "mom" is thrown in prison. And everyone is that much more sad.

It sounds like you may have a "man - hating" problem. I have actually met more men that are pro - choice, than I have women, but I live in today's society, not the 1800's (like you).
