Hospital Train, 1917
Pictured here are rare interior shots of a hospital train carriage made by Harris and Ewing in 1917. It was used by the Army and Red Cross. The bottom image is of a portable syphilis testing lab on board a train in 1930s. I could only find one undersized picture   ·  ·  · |

It is very easy to see how the nurses in those times would have been considered by many to be nothing short of angels on earth. Bless them please Lord Almighty.
