Notice how nice they all dressed, even the criminals took pride in their appearance back in the day.

I was intrigued so I bought that book on my Kindle. I cannot copy pictures from there and this is your post anyway but thought if you were posting more those baby pictures were particularly disturbing. Just warn people first. Those were rough but like the book said showed the raw and gritty side of the human experience most people try to avoid. Thanks again for letting us know about the book and sharing.

Yes that decapitation was very sad. I thought at first that guy whose head was resting on the ground was buried up to his neck. It was not an apparent decapitation when you first see it.
