Sounds like she married a doctor who fucked both sets of organs, here is the story:

1880s

Josephene Myrtle Corbin, the Four-Legged Woman, was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee in 1868. Rather than having a parasitic twin, Myrtle’s extra legs resulted from an even rarer form of conjoined twinning known as dipygus, which gave her two complete bodies from the waist down. She had two small pelves side-by-side, and each of her smaller inner legs was paired with one of her outer legs. She could move the smaller legs but was unable to use them for walking. At the age of 19, she married a doctor named Clinton Bicknell and had four daughters and a son. It has been said that three of her children were born from one set of organs, two from the other. Myrtle died on May 6, 1928.

I wish they could have gotten DNA samples from the different sets. If it was a twin, that means different DNA. People who have multiple sets of DNA are "chimera".

That means some of her kids were hers and the others were nieces/nephews.

Fetuses that absorb their twins in the womb are chimera. If you were to test all their parts and organs, some parts would have a sibling's DNA.


I thing it's probably quite common, but not looked for.

I was just talking about chimeras with someone recently.

Fascinating! I could not, however, find the show, "I Am My Own Twin," about a British woman who had this issue. It has aired on The Discovery Channel.

A pap smear finally confirmed the children were hers. She had to have a witness for the third birth to claim benefits.

Back then, they didn't have dna testing. Anyone odd or unusual was considered a freak.

I don't like to bash men because I love them, so in fairness to them, anyone who saw the movie, "Freaks," knows of, "The Human Caterpillar, Prince Randian."
