The Turkish genocide of the Armenians is what inspired Hitler to engage in genocide against the Jews a few years later.

Hitler noted that 'the world' quickly forgot about the Turkish atrocities and assumed that it would be the same for Germany.

Yes, now that the French have a law that denying the turkish - Armenian genocide is a crime, the Dutch wanna go for a law that denying the Holocaust is a crime too. But it's 50-50. Some think it goes against freedom of speech. I know this is not the right section, but....what do you think?
