My people, Italian Americans, were treated like 3rd class citizens for many years in America. My Great Grandfather came to New York City in 1908. He was a CPA in Palermo, but when he almost got beat and arrested for attempting to gain employment at a Bank in Manhattan. Do you know understand why the Five Families were established in NYC? These photos are great examples of truth, justice and the American way. RIP!
