I remember my mum showing me a book of WWII pics of Auschwitz and other places. All black and white pics, all very very touching and horrific. I think that's when I discovered my fascination with death and gore. One pic I remember clearly, most of them were exactly the sort of pics posted here, but this one was a large black and white pic of a burning building, with arms reaching out on the floor from a gap underneath a door, flames bursting out and smoke everywhere. These people were trying to escape as they were burned alive. WE did that. Humans. Some humans really do not deserve to be allowed to live.
Haunting pics, but I can't stop looking at them.
