Looks like her head might have struck the shelf or whatever that is between the legs of the sewing table. If whatever knocked her down to begin with didn't kill her, maybe that blow did.

At first I thought her neck was cut but is maybe a part of her print dress is flipped up. Definitely looks like blood by her left hand/wrist though Nice one btw
