Fascinating Old 'Flap Surgery' Images
Taken from a far-out book called "Regional Flaps of the Head and Neck" by John Conley (1976). So 'flap surgery' has nothing to do with designer vaginas then! |

Re: Fascinating Old 'Flap Surgery' Images
At the time they couldn't do the kind of microsurgery that's necessary to re-attach tiny blood vessels. So if they cut a piece of skin and sewed it on somewhere else, it wouldn't have a blood supply and would die. They left the transplant part attached to some part of its original blood supply long enough for it to heal to the new place. I feel kinda bad for that one poor fellow that's going to have a nipple where his ear should be... |

Re: Fascinating Old 'Flap Surgery' Images
I'm now picturing a man with a scrotum where his chin is and a penis instead of his nose (mouth in normal spot). A scattering of ginger pubes to create a freakily thick mono-brow would be needed just to add insult to injury |
