These sort of photos always fascinate me. How astounding, I really do wonder what is going on in their thoughts. I feel sorry them , at least they were given the option to be able to somewhat reconstruct their faces. But, I doubt any of them felt truly normal again. Luckily procedures have progressed in recent times, to give a little more hope for patients in their position.  |

Though a few of them really had terrible skin grafts  , for the time however, kind of amazing what they were able to do. Certainly led to great work in todays world Very interesting stuff.
