Aw you're sweet! I used to live in Edinburgh and have seen his statue and visited Greyfriar's Churchyard where both owner and dog are buried. Very touching story. |

I've now had to deal with two dogs who, upon the death of their owners, have sunk deep into depression and refused to eat, drink, or do anything. One did indeed stay at the graveyard where his master was buried and eventually had to be euthanised as it would fly into a panic if anyone tried to remove him from the plot. Heartbreaking.
