My mum paid a hefty amount for our family dog to have a cremation and he now rests in a nice little urn in the living room. Pets become like family sometimes.

aww that's very sweet. I remember years ago i had a guinea pig and when he passed away i took some photos of him before he was buried, i still have those pictures
