Re: Chilling Final Photo's of Murder Victims Taken by Their Killers
This isn't often updated in coverage of Regina, but Ricky Lee Jones was found in March 1991 (just over a year after their disappearance) in Mississippi. He wasn't identified until 2008. It appears he might have been of Hispanic descent, which might have explained running away to Mexico. What's a little scary is that not only were they abducted from Texas, but he drove either with Jones' dead body at Regina's feet for a few states, or kept them tortured together before disposing of him later. AFAIK, they weren't able to determine how long after, that he was murdered. He was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head, matching up with the drawing found in a notebook of the killer, with the words Ricky is dead, along with a sketch of a gun. These are two shots of him, one as he was, the other the bust formed from the found remains which remained in the Doe Network. There have been several more victims attributed to him after Regina was found as well. It's been difficult to track because he took victims from one area (often couples), dumped one body in one state and the other several states from there. There are casual mentions of other photographs or references to his journal, but I have yet to see any of them released publicly. |

Re: Chilling Final Photo's of Murder Victims Taken by Their Killers
Oh wow, I just remembered this guy. He was a trucker that went by the cb call sign of whips and chains. A few years ago I was taking a sociology class and his wife came and spoke to all of us taking the course. The wife was suffering from badder-ed wife syndrome and knew he was up to know good. She even throughout evidence when the cops caught on to him when her husband phoned her to do so. I still feel she was a little compliant. Ive seen the picture before, never knew he took it. Wow.

It's funny...we can all say how horrible and terrible these photos are. Say how much we empathize with the victims... And yet, we'd LOVE to see MORE photos/videos/etc of their torment Not judging at all. Just saying...we all walk a fine line. And we may all go a little mad at times |

A sociology course during when, elementary school? "Badder-ed" wife syndrome? Really? "and knew he was up to 'know' good"? Really? Omg.
