That's really interesting and I've never heard about it before. I've just read-up further, and there were all manner of alleged cover-ups regarding the event. The 70's were not a great time to be a gay person in.  Some images to add to this thread -1. Bill Larson - made a rev posthumously 2. The building today 3. After the fire 4.
