agree, but i think the "dead" giveaway is the steering column that has no doubt given him a whack to the chest/head area before nonchalantly pointing to the roof

because no one cared about them when they were still relatively new
it is only once a car/house/etc gets old and can no longer be replaced, people care - i guess also, many people only care about particular models, so many of these cars while looking cool now, still might not be at the top of a collector's shopping list :)
