Yes, if they were not so hungry that they would eat it raw.

I actually wrote a 20 page research paper on this when I was undergrad.

Also, apparently the butts were the best part. During times of hunger, such as WWII, it was common to see bodies of those that had collapsed and died in the streets with their buttocks cut out.

Well, pig butts are nice, tasty and tender. Makes sense!

I know! It was so sad Hannibal didn't even know he partook in eating his own baby sister.... It was sad also how sick to his stomach he was when he found out!!! Great post!!
