Re: Burnt Bodies in Tokyo 1945

i feel bad. the civilians had nothing to do with the attack. i don't know why everyone jumping up and saying they got what they deserve. they are good pics but i've heard things how some US people regret dropping those bombs.

Re: Burnt Bodies in Tokyo 1945

difference between soldiers and civilians anyone?
There isn't one war is hell, and death sees not age, race, social status or gender. Too bad we haven't kept attitude in the wars since...fucking liberals...

Re: Burnt Bodies in Tokyo 1945

It took this to win the war with japan and germany.genocide of the population. But ended the war tho didn't it.Had japan not finallly surrendered we likely would have killed every single one of them if it took that I think.Imperial japan brought the bombs to the population by thier war just as Hitler did.sitting down at a table and talkin it out doesn't end or solve crap. The only way to win is completely destroy your enemy.wether by bombs, guns, nukes or sticks and stones of prehistoric man.The limp wristed way this war on terror the us is fight will never end.i say that as a US citizen that in total support of our men and women in service but believe they are not being allowed to win...merely wasting good men and women for nothing.lost a few friends that were in iraq and what has happened there now?to really win this bs gotta fight it like we did ww2.....my daily opinion and well..opinions are like buttholes...haha

Re: Burnt Bodies in Tokyo 1945

So I guess it would have been okay if the Japanese came back and bombed, California, just bombed and burnt it up. Everyone in there just dies horrific death. America bombed Japan. Hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children were murdered. Eye for an eye. Continue the cycle.

Re: Burnt Bodies in Tokyo 1945

The attitude of the Jap soldiers and civilians during WW2 was exactly the same ie: Honoured that their sons would die for the nation.
Great post.
The fact of the matter is that soldiers and their families were scared shitless of their own psycho government of that time (well...the government is still psycho today under Mr. Abe, but now they're being psycho in the realm of economic policy rather than war...but I digress).

That movie directed by Clint Eastwood (I think it was called Letters from Iwo Jima or something like that) did a decent job of portraying the sentiment of the average Japanese soldier and his family with respect to being forced to participate in utterly suicidal war campaigns.
