What they did in Manchuria has no parallel to what the Europeans did to the Natives in South America, it also has nothing in common with how Americans and Canadians dealt with the natives here.

As far as the U.S.'s foreign policy during WWII:
Your corporations were selling arms to the Nazis.

Coupled with the fact that up until the Pearl Harbour attack, the U.S. had a "Not our problem" attitude towards both sides of WWII.

The only reason the U.S. gave two shits about Asia was the Philippines(which was still technically American controlled until 1946), but hey:

This is a result of Japan's Imperial aggression in China, other parts of Asia and it's attack on Pearl Harbor.

And, horrible as it is, it pales compared to the damage and destruction that Japan wreaked on the world during it's failed bid for Global Domination.

Japan caused 100% of it's own suffering.

Also, Japan's treatment and resultant success after the war was a result of it's treatment by the victors.

This treatment was 180 degrees from how Japan treated those under it's control while (temporarily) victorious.
