Very possible. Looks similar to others I've seen. They would mutilate corpses. Wish we had more info on location, year, etc.

Probably fell off the tractor and into the plow. Farm accidents were regular occurrences before safety cages and bars were installed on equipment.

The Plains Indians would often mutilate their enemies' corpses like this. Most of Custer's men got this treatment. I don't know if that's what this is, but it wouldn't surprise me.
