Re: Ancient Dentistry

That must have been painful.
I doubt it. The only painful part would be from drilling the donors teeth. Every thing else is twisted. Our ancestors were not as primitive or deprived as science would have us think.

Re: Ancient Dentistry

so if the rich could afford futuristic dental tech like that back then...what do the rich have these days that we dont
You have a capitalistic approach today that was laking then. You also have a web of communication that eliminates the occasional genius that the rich could grab onto in the past. The masses is where the money is. It is called economics. Ten dollars from millions is worth more than tens of thousands of the top one percent. Don't feel bad Obama or the European union doesn't seem to understand this. But the Chineese do.

Re: Ancient Dentistry

Cool! I like it!

For implants today, they use donor cadaver bone. My body didn't reject it so it went well. I don't have gold bands though :) I'm getting two more eventually, if anyone wants to film them for the site.

Re: Ancient Dentistry

I wonder where they got the teeth. I can't imagine they got them from a dead person.
There are plenty of dead people and none of them have any need for teeth.
