These are from a book called "Death Scenes," they're a compilation of cases that a Los Angeles detective saved from his career. He was active from the 30's to the 50's or so. The book is great, I highly recommend it.

I'm just messin with you....I had a book called Death Scenes, which was all murder/suicides from the 40s-50s....That top pic is of a prostitute that a young man picked up and attempted to dismember in his hotel room using a carving knife, L.A., I believe sometime in the 50s.
