It would be an enviremental disaster if it mates and reproduces. Fish and Game officers are notoriously stupid. It needs to be shot. I did read about this but could not find photos. Last year I found tracks of an aligator coming from TJ and then roaming north through the sand dunes in Border Field State Park. So we have a few pets getting loose and roaming around.
