A Chinese woman was so outraged about her husband's extramarital affair that she ran over his mistress and the mistress's daughter -- and then stripped naked and laid on the ground to prevent an ambulance from taking the critically wounded woman to the hospital.

The dramatic scene was captured on video after Zhang Shih, 38, reportedly drove her car head-on into the mistress who was riding a bike with her 4-year-old daughter in the back, reports the NY Daily News.

Then, when the unconscious girl was removed from under the car and placed in an ambulance along with her mother, Zhang, a university teacher, blocked the vehicle. She didn't budge, even after police arrived and surrounded her with guns drawn, reports the Daily Mail.

To compound the tragedy, the girl died at the hospital and her mother is in critical condition. Zhang faces charges of murder and attempted murder and could be sentenced to death, reports Beijing Shots.

Zhang Yan, a university teacher in Linyi City, Shandong Province, sped in her residential complex and hit a woman on a moped who had her 4-year-old daughter sitting behind her, officials said.Instead of helping the victims, Zhang stripped and lay naked on the ground. Later she snatched the injured girl from the ambulance and dropped her on the ground. The girl died later. Her mother, surnamed Wang, remained in intensive care.

Neighbors said Zhang was furious when she left her home on the morning of June 17.

A relative of Wang, Wang Lewen, said Zhang drove into the crowd after finding out her husband had a mistress. Zhang was detained for involuntary manslaughter, but Wang Lewen said it was intentional homicide.

"Zhang teaches medicine, including medical psychology and psychiatry. She disguises herself as a mad woman and hinders emergency treatment. She's so evil," Wang said.

with all that jostling around it is no wonder the child died. and seriously, with an innocent dying child in the ambulance they should have just run the fucking cunt over. if she had a beef with the other woman then whatever but taking it out on a child or taking it out with the other woman when it is endangering the childs life is simply wrong. i hope the bitch is executed.

The Chinese people who live here are usually overly polite, but then, they are business people.

There is one restaurant I used to frequent and the man brought his baby from upstairs to show me and had another little boy I was talking to.

His wife must have worked until the baby dropped out. I remember her looking very pregnant.
