There was a similar story awhile back where a woman so so big, she became part of the couch from sitting in her own body waste. Her husband kept feeding her. She did her nails and hair, but, couldn't get out of the chair. When she finally sought medical attention, they had to hoist her down onto some thing you carry cattle on. Excuse my ignorance; I'm a city girl. She died, probably due to some infection. I believe it was in New York City, NY. Nasty stuff! If I ever became that much of a burden to anyone, I wouldn't want to live. The day I can't get into a shower and take care of myself, is the day I want to die. Seriously. I don't want to be in one of those awful hospices like my poor father was put by my brothers. My mother is 76 and there is no way in Hell I'd put her there! Absolutely no way! My dad didn't deserve it either! I hope he is at peace. Karma got the one brother. He died in a fire nine months later. |
