Re: Woman On Her Period Runs Marathon Without Sanitary Pad
Blows my mind that literally everyone with membership here actively seeks out bloody fucked up photos then some of you start squealing like third graders when it comes to menstruation. |

Re: Woman On Her Period Runs Marathon Without Sanitary Pad
You're missing the point and everyone here has made plenty of points as to why it's gross and inappropriate. She's doing it in a public forum and she doesn't need to literally show everyone her pussy blood to make a point. The world already knows about these issues, bleeding on yourself isn't accomplishing anything except making yourself look like a total pig. If you're really gonna sit there and defend this gross bitch, then you're just as bad as she is. |

When you put your body through extraordinary tests of endurance, these type of things can happen beyond your control. This guy's bowels released on him and he couldn't stop it. His response was like Mentrual Girl's in that he tried to spin it like it was a Badge of Honor reflecting his commitment to his endeavor. |

Re: Woman On Her Period Runs Marathon Without Sanitary Pad
"I got my flow the night before and it was a total disaster but I didn’t want to clean it up. It would have been way too uncomfortable to worry about a tampon for 26.2 miles" I've ran marathons before while on my period and I've never had to worry about a tampon. When a tampon is inside of you, you don't feel it. Well you shouldn't. And yes, the fact that many females don't have access to sanitary products is unfortunate but there are ways to go about such a thing without being gross. I feel like it's almost mocking those without such products. Should people be disgusted by a woman on her period? No, it's a normal body function. If you want people to support a cause and understand and issue like this one you should approach it in a manner that doesn't straight up disgust or shock people. |
