Woman Has Mercedes Covered in Swarovski Crystals
Snapper Media SEPTEMBER 23, 2014 What the? ... The owner of this Mercedes had it completely covered in crystals. We all know that diamonds are a girl’s best friend but one Russian woman has taken her love for all things sparkly to the extreme, completely covering her car in bling. The London resident has proven that it’s not only male car fanatics who can make an expensive luxury car look outrageously over the top. The young owner posted a picture of the car on social media with a string of hashtags: “#blingbling #mercedes #swarovski #crystals #crystalcar #knightsbridge #harrods.” But, it’s not the first time a Swarovski covered Mercedes has been seen. Paris Hilton was rumoured to be interested in one after seeing one at a car show a few years back. UK’s Metro reported the woman claimed that the customised job took two months to complete — but, she declined to disclose the cost of the pimped up vehicle. Dozens of passersby stopped to take photos of the car when it was parked outside The Levin Hotel, near the famous Harrods store in Knightsbridge. Harald Duttine, manager of The Levin, told The Metro," “We have seen a lot of unusual cars like Ferraris parked outside but I think this one has got the most attention. “It belongs to a young lady and if you have the cash why not do it? It looks good and fun.” Would you be seen in this car? Photos - This unique Mercedes was stopping traffic after its owner had it covered in crystals. Source: Snapper Media |

Re: Woman Has Mercedes Covered in Swarovski Crystals
Very nice version of cut glass from Austria. Some look very nice, but, at a fraction of the price of diamonds. Diamonds are mined and occur naturally. You can get different grades. I'm not really a big fan, unless they are pretty colors. I'm too pale for white diamonds. I have a couple pairs of champagne stud earrings and one green pair, which are treated to get that color. Pink, champagne, yellow, orange, red and brown do occur naturally, along with the white ones. Swarovski are, to my knowledge, the most expensive ones, as far as crystal goes. I don't wear silver or platinum either because of my skin color. Cannot have gold cut with nickel because I have an allergic reaction to the nickel. Cannot keep earrings in with any of it in them. |

They make luxury cut of lead glass. The glass contains lead instead of calcium, which improves pretty much its appearance. |

A large-silver-metal-flake paint job would look about the same from a reasonable distance away. What a waste of money. |
