Woman Attacked, Attacker Thought She Was Dead
Happened in Kansas City, Missouri. This is either a very disturbed person or one sick son of a bitch. A 48-year-old man faces charges after police say he sexually assaulted an unconscious woman – who he thought was dead - on a Kansas City street. According to a report in the Kansas City Star, the incident happened Wednesday around 11:30 a.m. Officers say a woman, who was not feeling well, sat down in a shady area along the 3400 block of Troost Avenue were she lost consciousness. The alleged attacker, identified as Melvin Jackson, saw the victim and began to sexually assault her as she lay on the ground. Witnesses flagged down police who found Jackson walking from the scene with his pants unzipped. According to the report, when officers asked Jackson about his unzipped pants, he replied, “I thought that lady was dead.” Charges against Jackson are not yet known. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. |
