Woman Accused of Punching 70 Year Old Walmart Greeter
Jacquetta Simmons, 26, Charged With Two Counts Of Second-Degree Assault Reuters BATAVIA, N.Y. -- A New York woman was charged with two counts of second-degree assault after punching a 70-year old Walmart employee in the face. Batavia resident Jacquetta Simmons, 26, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, State Police Trooper Tracy Patterson said. She faces a second count because the victim, Grace Suozzi, is older than 65. Patterson said Simmons is accused of punching and knocking down Suozzi at 11:23 a.m. after the employee asked Simmons to see receipts for items the customer was carrying in store bags. After hitting Suozzi, Simmons ran out of the store, but employees and customers quickly surrounded her until police arrived. Suozzi suffered fractures to the left side of her face and significant swelling, Patterson said. Simmons on Sunday was being held in Genesee County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. That's their job. You know they check receipts and most around here are in wheelchairs. I don't see the big deal showing a receipt, but, I hate happy people, especially in the morning so I could live without that. I feel like taking George Carlin's advice and saying, "Fuck you", when someone says, "Good morning". May the legend rest in peace.

"greeters"....more like "confront..ers" when i go to walmart walk out with groceries or whatever i keep walking, if they ask to see my receipt i say "no" and keep walking. fuck that shit. i pay fucking walmart, so the least they could do is leave me alone.
