Yes there is. It's called criminally negligent manslaughter in the US, I looked up a definition for you:

It occurs where death results from serious negligence, or, in some jurisdictions, serious recklessness. A high degree of negligence is required to warrant criminal liability. A related concept is that of willful blindness, which is where a defendant intentionally puts himself in a position where he will be unaware of facts which would render him liable.

Didn't they have barriers to prevent people from going over?

Foxes are like 15 lbs, african wild dogs are 50-60lbs.

Where do you get your information from.

Also there were 11 of these buggers (can weigh up to 80 lbs and I assume they are well fed at the zoo), my money goes to them against 10 random american men (probably out of shape and overweight) who happen to be at a zoo.

I just took my daughter to the Pittsburgh zoo last week. We walked past the dog habitat and its still blocked off..in the aquarium they have a tank of piranhas that's open at the top. I wonder what idiot will cause an accident there

No. Theres just hand railings that say "do not climb" im from Pittsburgh and I remember a few years back some suicidal lady jumped in with the bears. If you fall in your screwed..obviously. but when I take my daughter I don't let go of her hand.
