In short..Thai ambulance workers are mostly volunteers. When they come upon a dead body, it is their responsibly to take care of it until a person comes to take it to the morgue. They take pictures with a body because it's a pride thing they learned from Western media and they point to show the body they took care of.

LOL totally agree! They said something about Thai's pointing because that's what they saw westerners doing. Funny i've never seen a westerner have a photo shoot, just to point at a dead body.
