Re: When Teabagging Goes Wrong

This is why loose clothing is frowned upon while using rotary tools.

Re: When Teabagging Goes Wrong

Come on, Australia, why so much self abuse with tools?

Firefighters are called to remove a man's penis from a spanner using an angle grinder - as chief reveals 'it happens more than you think'.

A man whose penis became stuck in a ring spanner was the subject of a 'delicate operation' by firefighters to remove the tool.

Firefighters from Tweed Heads, in northern New South Wales, used a tiny angle grinder to cut the spanner away for the the man's genitals on Monday.

The man was unable to remove his penis from the tool after it became swollen.

Senior firefighter Peter Sutherland said Tweed Heads firefighters did 'quite a few' similar jobs.

'It's really dangerous because inevitably people leave it too long to come see us because they are embarrassed, or say my wife said to put butter on it, sleep on it and it will go down,' he told The Courier Mail.

'It never does.'

Mr Sutherland said firefighters used a tiny, air-operated angle grinder and measuring tape to protect the skin.

Water was run over the grinder so it didn't get too hot, he said.

'It's a pretty delicate operation especially where it is, there's a lot of blood vessels,' he told The Courier Mail.
