Re: What is Wrong with the Youth.....
It doesnt matter HOW you read, only WHAT you read. IMO there's absolutely nothing wrong with reading stuff on an iPad. Hell, when I was at university, most books could be obtained online and it was far more better than having all of your dorm space being taken up by a huge amount of books. About the current generation: I dont think they are worse or better. They are different. The world is changing and so do we. I bet there were douchebags with a sense of entitlement in the 50s and 60s too. |

Re: What is Wrong with the Youth.....
I have been on my own for a while didn't have much of a childhood and my parents would leave me for days on end at age 11. My parents split and neither wanted me so I was thrown back and forth. Told to go do something I am busy when I was around either one........ It's all about respect, morals, and principals. Which is common sense in my book. Not to be taught but to believe what is right and wrong. |

Re: What is Wrong with the Youth.....
i think education should be a privilege and not a right. if your child is unmanageable, then he/she does not get to use the public school system. how your child receives an education is entirely your problem mr & mrs fucked up parent. 3 strikes and your kid is out. and don't give me any special needs my child can't behave shit. i have known plenty of special needs kids that were quite pleasant to be around. ADHD, Aspergers, Autism, Downs, they still need to be disciplined or they will not be able to function in the real world without someone wanting to, or actually cracking their head. obviously i worked in schools for too long. those last five years there were kindergartners that i wanted to smack good and hard. and nothing says you are a bad parent like your 7th grade son being suspended for sexual harassment of an adult. |
