WASHINGTON D.C. | Shots Fired at Correspondents Dinner
WASHINGTON D.C. (25 April 2026) 8pm EST A man apparently with a shotgun, handgun and knives was apprehended by USSS while breaching a security magnetometer checkpoint inside the D.C. Hilton Hotel, where the White House Correspondents' Association dinner was beginning with President Trump and a number of dignitaries attending. Several shots were heard. A Secret Service agent has been shot but apparently the bullet was stopped by his ballistic vest. As usual, the shooter is a brainwashed liberal nutjob:

Re: WASHINGTON D.C. | Shots Fired at Correspondents Dinner
Allen is a highly educated engineer. He earned a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech (2017) and a Master’s in Computer Science from CSU Dominguez Hills (2025). He worked as a part-time tutor at C2 Education in Torrance and was recognized as Teacher of the Month in December 2024. He was also an independent video game developer, having created the chemistry-themed game Bohrdom. Officials stated Allen had no prior criminal record and was not on the radar of law enforcement before this event. D.C. Police Chief Pamela Smith stated there is currently no evidence of a larger conspiracy. He is being treated as a lone wolf attacker. He was armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives. Allen reportedly told authorities he was specifically targeting officials linked to the Trump administration. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has charged Allen with: Using a firearm during a crime of violence and assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon. His neighbors and colleagues described him as a man who appeared entirely normal and intellectually driven. One neighbor recalled frequently seeing him riding a blue moped through the neighborhood, noting that he was always soft-spoken and never caused trouble. He was described by fellow school staff as a gentle, very polite, and good guy who was exceptionally patient with the students he tutored in math and science. Former classmates remember him as a brilliant student who was involved in the campus Christian Fellowship and a Nerf-gun club. While he was considered a bit of a loner, there were no reports of aggressive behavior or extremist rhetoric during his university years. The FBI is conducting a psychological autopsy, investigating if he had recently suffered a personal crisis or if he had been radicalized through online extremist forums. Federal agents have spent the last 24 hours combing through his family home in Torrance, seizing computers, hard drives, and journals. They are specifically looking for evidence of premeditation or if anyone else helped him plan the logistics of traveling to D.C. and smuggling weapons into the Washington Hilton hotel. The security at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on April 25, 2026, is currently under intense scrutiny after Cole Tomas Allen was able to bring multiple weapons into the Washington Hilton. While the Secret Service maintains their multi-layered system successfully prevented a massacre, the incident has exposed significant vulnerabilities in the venue's layout and guest screening. A witness reported seeing the suspect assembling a long weapon in a side room near the terrace-level entrance before the attack. Some attendees noted that simply flashing a ticket to a pre-event party was often enough to enter the premises, which allowed Allen to reach the lobby area with a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives. President Trump has called for a radical overhaul of presidential security, arguing that traditional venues like hotels are no longer defensible against modern threats. Trump’s most significant proposal is to build a massive, permanent event space directly on the White House grounds. The goal is to eliminate the need for the President to travel to external venues like the Washington Hilton for galas and dinners. He described the proposed facility as state-of-the-art, demanding it be completely bulletproof and drone-proof. This would allow for high-level events within a hardened military-grade perimeter. The Secret Service may require full guest lists from hotels days in advance for mandatory background checks on every person staying in the building. Instead of just securing the ballroom, the agency is considering locking down entire hotels, meaning no one could enter or exit the building once the President arrives. Trump is pushing for the deployment of active electronic jamming technology at every public appearance to intercept unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's) before they can reach the perimeter. During the April 25 incident, the Counter Assault Team was praised for their rapid response with rifles on stage. Trump wants to increase the visibility and number of these heavily armed units at all public checkpoints to serve as a psychological deterrent. The administration is looking into AI-driven surveillance cameras that can detect anomalous behavior or the silhouette of concealed weapons in a crowd. This technology would flag individuals like Allen before they ever reach a metal detector. The White House is expected to request emergency funding for these upgrades in the coming weeks. |
