He has been charged with murder. The funeral will be held this Wednesday at what was to be her wedding venue last Saturday... It's a shame we don't have the death penalty here in Australia...

Average murder sentence in Australia is 25 years. Pretty rare to get a life sentence with no possibility of parole.

The guy who shot and killed an RCMP officer got 75 years. Sentences like that are rare as unicorns though...some people only serve 8 or 10.
