In Massac County, police said a man they were chasing pointed his fingers at an officer and said, "Pow, pow, pow."
Officers arrested Anthony Ginger on aggravated battery charges.
They said he took off running after a disturbance at the Metropolis Casey's.
During the chase, Ginger pretended to draw a gun, but it was just his fingers. That's when officers said Ginger made gun sounds with his mouth.
Officers tazed the 52-year-old, but he kept fighting and even punched one officer in the head.
Ginger is now in the Massac County Jail.
