I have tried to find other footage of the crash but to no avail, the lead guy crashes out and the others seem to follow...  |

Rivas' bike lost power and slowed suddenly just after the start, he put his left hand up to alert other riders, some riders were able to miss him but at some point he was knocked off from his motorcycle and while he was on the ground he was struck by at least one rider (Cory Call stated that he could not avoid running over him). Rivas' bike stall caused a sort of chain-reaction leading several other riders colliding and crashing, at least 4 more riders including Josh Chisum, Bernat Martinez (the other rider who lost his life), Devon McDonough and Kevin Pinkstaff were involved.
