If it indeed was Islamic terrorism (again..) why target a plane with so many fellow Muslims and believers? Wouldn't a plane with as many westerners as possible be a better target.  |

Have you paid much attention to the terrorists? Westerners are a mere fraction of the victims. You do raise an interesting point, though... what was the strategy attacking an Egyptian airliner coming FROM Paris? You'd think there'd be a greater fear-factor if it was an Air France airliner landing in Paris. |

Maybe it was to target tourism in Egypt. It was a relatively small plane though with not that many passengers unlike others previously. Easier with security maybe?
