Video of the Canadian Captured in Afghanistan 8 May 2011
![]() [QUOTE] Remarks Of Islamic Emirate’s Spokesman Regarding Canadian Detainee’s (Colin McKenzie Rutherford) Video And Case Jamadi-ul-Thani 04, 1432 A.H, Sunday, May 08, 2011 A few months earlier, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate captured a Canadian national, a resident of Toronto city and an agent of this country’s spy agency (Colin McKenzie Rutherford) in Ghazni province. The mentioned person came under Mujahideen surveillance before his capture because of his suspicious actions. The documents seized and investigations carried out after his arrest showed that he had entered the country while working for a spy agency and had been working as an active spy for a long time, gathering intelligence information about Mujahideen. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, through an earlier released statement asked the Canadian government to accept the terms laid out by Islamic Emirate in order to solve this case and once again re-iterates itself to the Canadian government to take urgent steps to solve this case or this detainee could face a trial. The video of the detainee has been released as promised by Islamic Emirate, which can be viewed at the following link. I never knew "Islamic Emirate" is another name for the Taliban... I'd be interested in seeing their proof that he's a so-called spy. Although I don't understand what his job as "Auditor" means.. Why would CSIS send a 26 year old on a spy mission?... Also, here are some news article links: http://www.nationalpost.com/opinion/...674/story.html and http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/...7470MD20110508 |

Re: Video of the Canadian Captured in Afghanistan 8 May 2011
i thought it was stupid when our govt sent the navy out to try and rescue the bible boat 4. these 4 separated from the rest of the group and the only logical explanation is that they intentionally headed into pirate infested sea so that they could give the pirates bibles. they took their chances. why did we send the navy in and risk the lives of the navy men involveddue to some americans stupidity? this canadian guy has to know that we (which is the USA and its blind followers such as canada)certainly are not on the greatest terms with middle east countries, and especially not on good terms with afghanistan. to americans, canadians and any other countries concerned, the government of said countries besides issueing a warning to say away from certain countries and areas should also make it perfectly clear that not only are they at risk going to these places but if they are detained foor any reason be it legit or not that the country of their origin is NOT going to send any rescue, pay any ransom or make any deals to secure their release. if they so venture into areas that the government has warned them about then they will have to hope their family and friends can secure their release. it should not be the tax payers burden as far as the financial aspect and it should not be any of the military's burden to risk their lives in these type of matters. i know it sounds cold and heartless but on the other hand, those who go into dangerous countries and into seas known to have pirates well, that sounds pretty stupid if not suicidal. if you as an individual go where you are not welcome then you should face the consequences regardless if allegations are true or false. (if someone goes as a journalist or working for the government then that is different. sort of.) |
