Re: Van Ploughs into Crowd in Barcelona
Well....maybe. The thing is that a van is relatively light and can be stopped if the crowd is too heavy. Also, the vehicle can be stopped from moving forward if there are too many dead and dying bodies that cause the undercarriage to lift off the ground which means tires can lose traction. And with each group of people hit, there is a loss of speed. It all boils down to momentum Momentum = Mass x Velocity (Especially with Vehicular Homicide.) In such a densely packed street scence, the truly well prepared murdering moos slum piece of sh*t would have a fully tracked vehicle. Any full sized Main Battle Tank would do. |

Re: Van Ploughs into Crowd in Barcelona
to the speculation on how the van could be slowed down by bodies: yes it could if this is a more cowardly coward terrorism but on the other hand las ramblas are very very wide and doing some zigzag or maneuvering super possible. rambla does mean very wide avenue in spanish. sounds like an amateur dumbass like most these new wave drive-over terrorists are. ofc it'll be claimed by almighty isis. it's so crowded always there. it's honestly like driving through a packed subway on rush hour but it's wider and filled with families and tourists |

Re: Van Ploughs into Crowd in Barcelona
Update time: -13 people have died after a van rammed into pedestrians in Barcelona -80 people have been injured: 15 are in serious condition. -42 people are described as having 'mild injuries' -Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the Barcelona attack, saying it was carried out by "Islamic State soldiers". -Two people arrested, with reports of another suspect killed in a shootout. Edit: ^In latest update French Popo's now say formerly alleged suspect Driss Oukabir, who reported himself in Ripoll where he lives and was during the attack, had his passport stolen and had nothing to do with the attack. ![]() Sources came from BBC & NOS |

I could be wrong but I suspect the last thing on the guys mind was aspect ratio and video editing at the time he shot the video. Portrait is also less conspicuous.
