Utrecht Tram Shooting: Multiple People Hurt in Dutch Incident
A manhunt is underway after a gunman opened fire inside a tram in the Dutch city of Utrecht, authorities have confirmed. One person is feared dead and several were wounded in the shooting incident, according to police spokesman Joost Lanshage. Dutch authorities are considering "a possible terrorist motive" for the shooting, which happened in 24 October Square at 10:45 a.m. (5:45 a.m ET) on Monday, Utrecht police said on Twitter.     https://edition.cnn.com/2019/03/18/e...ntl/index.html |

Dutch police have named a suspect in the 'terrorist motivated' shooting on a tram in Utrecht, which resulted in the death of at least one person and left several others injured, as a 37-year-old Turkish-born man. Police tweeted a photograph of Gökman Tanis, believed to have been captured on the tram's CCTV just minutes before the incident at 10.45am this morning, and urged the public to 'look out for him but do not approach.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ng-people.html  · |

UTRECHT - All mosques in Utrecht have closed their doors as a precaution after the shooting incident in Utrecht. "We did that in consultation with the police," says a spokesman for the Ulu Mosque, the largest mosque in Utrecht.  The Ulu Mosque is currently being guarded by the police. Mosques remain open in The Hague for the time being. "But we are extra allert," says Abdelhamid Taheri, chairman of the board of the As-Sunnah Mosque. "Mosques in Brabant and Zeeland have been asked by the police to close as a precaution, but that is not yet the case here," said the chairman. At the mosque in The Hague, according to Taheri, extra attention is being paid to who is going inside. Threat level 5 Several people were injured on Monday morning at a shooting in a tram in Utrecht. The vehicle is stationary at the 24 Oktoberplein in Utrecht. The police take into account a terrorist motive. The National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security has decided to raise the threat level to level 5 exclusively for the province of Utrecht until at least 6 p.m. It is the first time that such a high level of threat has been issued in the Netherlands. |

UPDATE......!!! Utrecht tram shooting leaves three dead 9 injured inc 3 Critical  and u cant help but think this will never stop but just get worse

3 killed and 5 injured i read and they captured the Turk. It's not quite sure it was a terror attack as people saw he targeted a certain woman at the tram and he had 7 run-ins with police/justice in the past 8 years for suspected rape, possession of a firearm, shooting at an apartment building, theft etc. He also drank liquor and used cocaine in the past. Possible target was maybe his ex gf and the others that were killed tried to help/intervene rumours say. However those rumours were wrong and it was a terror attack as a note was found in his fleeing vehicle sympathising with his muslim brothers. There was no relation found between him and the victims. Two other suspects, 23, 27 were released but another suspect, 40 was arrested in the same city on Tuesday. |

Yes, quite the 'cycle'. moo slums perpetrate 250 atrocities and someone from The West...finally...responds. Yeah. A 'cycle'. As a security precaution, all mosques in Holland should be bulldozed. All moos slums should be expelled from the country. At least 10,000 GoPro equipped Kiwis should be immediately brought to Holland. All moo slum literature, speech or practice should temporarily halted in Holland. Temporarily. As in 'No less than 15,000 years to no more than 20,000 years'. |
