He's just spouting the typical babble of someone who has 0 real-world experience. It would be nice if life were as easily and neatly compartmentalized as people like him are determined to view it.
Unfortunately, it's an ignorant load of crap, but I do understand how it easy it must be to pass judgement when the closest you get to the uglier side of life is through your monitor.
I try not to hold it against him too much, because everyone is like that to a degree, Oswald just takes it to an extreme with his self righteousness and semantics.
