I grew up in battered women's shelters and I'd still say most American men treat their women better than 85% of the global male populace (sometimes a little too much better- It's hard to respect someone who kisses your ass constantly)

But this 'asking for it' stuff is rubbish, and I'm not going to start treating every man I meet as a potential rapist. It's bullshit. I think women need to be taught how to defend themselves- Never get in a car with a stranger unless there's a tazer in your back pocket.

I doubt he/she has ever been to an asian country. Pakistan and India are the worst for these sorts of things and yet its no fault of the woman when shit like this happens.

Going into a vehicle full of strange men in rape country is asking for it.

That's not what I was talking about. What I was saying was that rape isn't going to just disappear once victims stop 'asking for it'. That is not the miracle solution to the problem of violent rape and more women need to take responsibility by learning to defend themselves instead of just feeling victimized.

The miracle solution is to quit asking for it.

Do that...FIRST.

Women and their actions/inactions are most heavily responsible for the overall societal attitudes regarding rape.

For instance, women are generally mindf*ckers.

Mindf*cking is a mental form of rape. Just as violent and just as destructive as physical rape.

Women often think of mindf*cking as their 'right' and they should be allowed to wreak as much havoc as they wish without consequence. That's is the depth of their insanity.

Some men will retaliate with a physical form of rape.
