I'm not going to argue with you about gunlaws. I'm not an american, so it doesn't really affect me. That's up to you to decide. But don't preech about isolated incidents to justify your opinion. Last year, Norway had a total of 73 homicides by firearm, of which 69 was by Anders Behring Breivik. Had it not been for him, that number would have been 4. Out of a population of 5 million. If our secret intelligence agency weren't filled with incompetent morons, they would have had a profile on ABB when he filed for a gunlicense. He did appear on their radar, but they didn't follow up on him. Before filing for a license, he had tried to acquire illegal firearms out of country without any success. Though it is the way it is. In the end, he did up the statistics. The statistics of homicides are in Norwegian, but if you want to check it out for yourself; here's the link to the pdf |
